Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assistance and motivation to improving upon South African Social Security Company (SASSA) solutions throughout an engagement while using the company's senior administrators in a strategic planning session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled while in the 2024 matric final exams.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% with the registered pupils while in the training sector.
These learners achieved a commendable pass rate of 86%.
